Another Civic Hybrid question...?
I have a brand new 2009 Hybrid. If I come to a light, or stop at an intersection on an upward incline, the car rolls backwards if I take my foot off the brake. I've never driven an automatic that does this unless there is a problem with the transmission.
At first I assumed it was because the engine shuts off when you brake, but... I'm not braking! is this a Hybrid thing, or did I bring home a lemon? |
its normal, the speed at which you roll with your foot off the break is not a great enough force to climb the hill so inherently your car will go backwards, dont worry about it just dont hit anyone behind you :)
