Aight people i need your help ok i was driving my civic (b20 vtec) i was testing the vtec because i have a apexi vtec controller and i had it on 5000 rpm (vtec) n i was testing it i started easy and slow but after that i step on the gas n the vtec when started working but i heard a sound coming out of the engine it sounded like air i don't know like if i was jumping in a bunch of plastics i dont really know how to explain it but yeah the mechanic when to check it n he said that it was the head gasket n theres no compression in the engine because of that the time on the engine its ok everything is ok but that what you think??

If it sounds like air it might be a vacuum leak in the carb or intake
