Has anyone had leak problems with Honda Civic 2006?

Our Honda Civic 2006 (8,564 miles) was parked on our descending driveway in front of our no flood zone home. Yes, there were some rain storms while we were away for the week. Windows and sunroof were closed and no one drove the car for the week. The seats, roof and door inside walls are dry. The trunk is also dry. The drivers floor mats and all of the backseat floor was saturated with water. Front passenger side floor was dry. Took it to dealership and they don't have a clue and insisted that the car must have been standing in water for a long time. This is not true! Dealership said that it is not covered in warranty. The car floors are now showing mold and the Dealership wants $700.00 to replace carpets. Our ins. deductible is to high and we honestly feel this is not our fault. Help!! Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I have a 2006 Civic with approx 12K and I haven't had that problem. That seems very out of the ordinary, like something is definitely wrong with the car. It will be hard to prove that it is not your fault, but I would try to contact Honda directly and see what they can do. Good luck!
