Honda Civic HELP!?
 
i have a '91 Honda Civic Si..lately the car has been acting kind of wierd..when i go backward it starts shaking and then it turns off. i check the motor, the transmission oil..what can be wrong.PLEASE HELP..

sounds like you are idling rought in reverse. have you checked the battery?

It could be something in the computer. You should have a diagnostic test run on it to determine what the cause could be.

A 91 Honda has no right to be on the road. However, for now, do not go backwards till you get a proper car .

Get it serviced by an INDEPENDANT Honda dealer and mention the problem.Or do as my wife did and marry a mechanic!

you're probably filling up with forward only gasoline.. try backing up into the gas station and see if it helps at all.... it could also be the diametrics of the flute valves not relesing enuogh carbon offsets.

this might be your tuning problem. your engine rpm is too low when your car in idling. better go for a tuning.
