2002 Honda Civic EX Sedan

Considering for my first car. Going to college next year. We were looking for something under 100k miles, but seeing as how they can last up to 250 k with good care, this will last me for (4/5) years to come right (w/ inspections, etc.)?

Not bad. Hondas will last for some time with good care a pampering. If you live on the East Coast, check for any rusting on the body. If there's any rusting, it can lead to further issues.

You're right about Honda being very durable, but for that price, I'm sure you can find something with fewer miles. Think about the interest which you will have to pay on the loan on top of the actual price. The miles on it are a little too much for the price also. I would pay that much for a Honda with about 90K miles. Try to bring the seller down to about 5500 or 6000 then it might be a good deal.
