how to do a GOOD REAR brake conversion from drums into rotors???
i have 2000 honda civic ex 1.6 SOHC vtec... my rear brakes are drums.... the 2000 si has the rear rotor brakes and i want to convert it like an SI with all four being rotor brakes...
but i need a list of all parts needed to make this happen??? i dont want to buy someone car rear brakes and i miss parts ... so i want to know what exact parts i need? ps please dont tell me to buy a conversion kit... unless you know were to get it lower than $200 bucks.. ok ... CHECK IT OUT... if you dont have any idea on how to answer this question in being helpful dont answer... i have all four rotors brembo and brake pads brembo and AEM for less than 150.. so dont trip... thats why i wanted to get the whole rear stock brakes from an SI and adapt them to my car... but wat parts do i need so i can make sure i have all of it?> |
You'd be lucky to find just the rotors alone for $200. Conversions run more like 2 grand. And you don't want to scrimp on brakes, believe me. Check out some of the Honda tuner forums for advice on this.
