How do i swap 98 honda civic sedan secondary 02 sensor?
 

reposted question with additional detail..I know the secondary plugs into the cat converter, and I know the wires go up into the car through a grommet. What I don't know is where those wires terminate and how do I get to them? I want to be able to remove both ends of the 02 sensor and replace the whole thing. I tried tracing the wires but can't seem to find where they go. Although the grommet comes out, the wires keep going up into the car, no connector in sight. No maneuvering room to get my fingers in to feel for the connector, either. Also, there isn't enough slack in the wire for me to be able to splice in a new 02 sensor. One friend of mine had a very good suggestion: stick a goose neck flashlight into the hole that the wires go through, disassemble the front console where the stereo and stickshift join, and see if I can spot the light. Want to see other experiences out there before I proceed.
