I have a '98 Honda Civic (UK). How do I retract the aerial?

Do I unscrew it or push it in? I'm scared of breaking it.

If as I suspect, it is a small angled aerial on the roof, it can't be retracted, but can be removed by twisting it anti-clockwise. This sometimes requires the use of pliers

Grab it firmly in your right hand and pull for all you are worth.No dont. it screws on and off.
