VTI i dont think stands for anything,its just Hondas version of the GTI monicker from VW i guess, Variable Timing - Intelligent it could be

Honda technicians themselves have lots of different explanations for those abbreviations.































The main one you should know is only VTEC.































The rest is just marketing gimmick.















I think you can insert the following words yourself to make out the meaning... which doesnt actually mean anything special either.































V=Valve/Variable















T=Timing/Turbo















i=Intelligent/Injection/Induction















S=Sport















E=Electronic















C=Control















R=Racing
