I have Honda Civic'03 and It has already 10500Kms. I am wondering when...
...should I change the timing belt?

ring the service department of your local Honda car dealer and ask them what is recommended. Most cars are recommended at 80k or 100k.. but some even as low as 40k

When ever you ask a question as this about your automobile it is time to have it looked at
Is my never fail me saying And I live by it and have never regretted it. |
Check your manual- it should give you this information. If you can't find it, contact your local dealer. Good Luck!

Did you mean to type 105000 km? I assume you left off a zero.
Even then, you're nowhere close based on mileage, as Honda recommends a change at 110,000 miles (probably 170,000 km in the Canadian scheule). If you really do have only 10,500 km on the car, age becomes the limiting factor. I am not sure when they recommend a change based on age, but somewhere around nine years would make sense assuming 12,000 miles/year. Not there yet, either. www.search-autoparts.com |
