my Honda CRX has about 230,000 miles on it, and apparently i need a valve job.?
 

whats a good engine that i can get for cheap, and where can i get it? i want a fast engine that i can race with. could i just get a valve job and then bore out my motor? would it be worth it on such a high mileage car?

You have a Few options, its a Honda. The B18 engine is great. If you wanna go big get a k20. Go to a junk yard you can geta D Series CHEAP because no one wants them.































If you want a "fast" car You can squeeze more power out buy build a N/A set up. High compression forged pistons and forged rods. Just a few things. But it wont come cheap for a N/A engine.
