What will happen to my new Honda Civic if I used super unleaded gas...
 

...instead of just unleaded gas? ? I thought super unleaded gas was just better for your car so I used it instead of the usual unleaded gas, and now my engine light is on and my car is only a year old!! What did I do?!

the octane is too high for that engine but if u get a turbo that would be fine but idk exactly wat u did

It may run better... or not. Cars have a minimum requirement for octane. As long as you meet the minimum the car will run fine, you can go over without any problems unless you go into the range of 108 octane racing fuels, but why would you do that? Any gas you get from a decent gas station that exceeds the minimum will work as to working better that's gonna require testing on your part.
