The SI is a sports based model. A lot of motor companies dont offer teh sporty model in a automatic.

because automatics suck. they are for lazy people who dont really enjoy truely driving the car.

This is hondas sport model and they typically do not come out with automatic transmissions for performance reasons.

If you want an automatic SI , buy an accord . rofl

Honda believes all sports/ tuner car lovers only use Manual, so they only offer manual. the Si is the sporty civic in case you did'nt know.

Manuals are sportier. The car already has pretty low torque, so adding a torque converter for an automatic would not help. It would also cut the horsepower figures (which is the only reason why it goes). Also worse gas mileage.
