02 accord 4 cyl perf. impr?

is there anything i can do that really works? am not a big believer in 'cold
air intakes' and am skeptical about the low cost ecu mods. it runs ok, but
need some extra smash for passing. have looked at the 4-2-1 headers, wonder
if anybody has tried it and found that it really makes a difference. dont
want to spend the big bucks on a turbo- or super-charger. thanks

this is what we replaced for my buddys accord for under 1000 for some extra
"smash". Cold Air Intake (Which u don't want), Headers, Exhaust, Throttle
body spacer, and also Lightweight Underdrive Pulleys.
