My son in law started playing with his 92 honda accord 2.2liter 16 valve

he took away hiis gnition wiring and ddint took note on were the wire where

so now he is stuck with an engine that back fire like hell and wont start

anyone can point me..so i could help him find wich wire goes to wich

i think the first cylinder would be closes to the timing belt, but thats

Yes, cylinder #1 is the one closest to the timing belt. With any luck,
the distributor cap has numbers stamped on it. I found
http://66.98.216.63/hondah/manuals/C...ifications.pdf that
indicates that the firing order for all 4-cylinder Honda engines listed
is 1 - 3 - 4 - 2. And just what is that dufus doing with your daughter?

You should figure out a way to put a pad lock on the hood so your son
can't open it. If he needs to take it in for service--go with him and open
the pad lock for the mechanic and order the mechanic to relock the pad
lock after he has finished working on it--just kidding.
