1997 Honda Accord

Hi, all,

I'm looking to buy a 1997-8 Honda Accord. The price range
I can go for without stretching it, is about $8000. For this
price I can most probably get a 2.0iS that's already done about
100,000 miles or thereabouts. I figured, for this money, I'd like
to have a car that will go for another 100,000 miles. Alternatively,
I can do less mileage, but try to resell it in a few years.
Naturally, I'd like this to happen without any significant problems
with the car, :-).
Is this a reasonable thing to expect from such a car? I know
Hondas are known for their reliability, but what about cars run up
to such high mileages?

Thanks!

Peter
