2000 Accord A/C Quits When Idle
Hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. Our A/C
works great, except when we stop at a red light or stop sign. For some reason, the A/C just dies and engine temperature shoots up to its maximum temperature. As soon as we drive off the temp drops down and the A/C returns to normal. Any ideas? |

Second thing (maybe it should be first) is whether there is any antifreeze in the radiator. Check the actual radiator, not just the overflow tank, though the overflow should be between the min and max marks as well. |
Re: 2000 Accord A/C Quits When Idle
Hey I had somewhat the same problem this past sunday in my 2000 accord.
while we were waiting for a light to change the air went off as well as the radio. when we started moving again it all came back on. come to find out the alternator went bad. no warning, no battery light or check engine. may want to check that. |
