2000 EX V6 Transmission

Is there a filter on the 2000 EX V6 and if so, how often should it be
changed.

Honda automatics do not have transmission filters. There are little screens
in the passageways that are only accessible by disassembling the trans.

You should do a drain and fill every 30,000 miles or 2 years if on the
severe schedule and at 90,000 if you are on the normal schedule.

If you didn't know, there is a recall on the '00 V6 transmissions.

Not a recall -- its a warranty extension to 100,000 miles. To see if it
applies to yours, check on the Honda website at the owner's link.

oh. I know a few people that Honda gave them a new transmission anywhere
from 50k-70k miles.

I weaseled my way into a pay-for-labor on my '99. Not bad still, $570 for a
new tranny installed. That happened at 68k miles.
