2004 accord cupholders

Where are the 8 cupholders in a 2004 Accord?

I understand the need for 2, maybe 4 (2 front, 2 back) cup holders and
some storage, but 8? I really hope it's a joke, otherwise it's pretty
sad that someone thought 8 cup holders would be needed.

I have a 2003 EX and can only find 6. 1 in each door and two in the
console between the front seats. Perhaps there is an option that gives two
more in the center for rear seaters.

Even if there are 8 cup holders, it's obviously not to accomodate 8
people in a 5 passenger vehicle. The extra locations are for convenience.
It's excellent recognition by Honda that depending on where you sit and how
many others are in the the car with you and what handed you are, that having
the choice of a cup holder on your right or left might make the difference
between conveneint access and spilling your drink all over someone.

Does the glove box door, when opened, have 2 more on the inside of it? I've
seen that on other vehicles before, and frankly, find them very useless -
they're not deep enough to hold anything, and when in use, leave everything
else stashed in the glovebox open to relocating itself to the nearest
floor.... :-D

No, the glove box does not, but the arm rest that can be lowered from the
rear seat has two in it.

Perhaps some of the cupholders are for left handed people.
Perhaps in the year 2002 or 2003, they received lots of
complaints from left handed people so decided to include
cupholders for left handed people in the 2004 model--just guessing.
I noticed that others have already told you where they are located.
