Is this true? Is that price on a "brand new" vehicle? Because that deal
sounds too good to be true! Is there state tax in Tex?

I recently shopped for a brand new 2004 Accord EX V6 & I live in NJ near
Atlantic City. I've been to 3 of the (more or less) "local" dealerships
& the best price I have been offered so far is $24, 585. That price
includes leather, a moonroof visor & spoiler. Unfortunately, NJ tax &
tags add roughly $1700. to that = a grand total ( or "walkout figure" as
many in this thread call it) of $26, 288. I originally thought this was
a good deal until reading your post.

The financing I was offered was 3.9 % for 60 months & my credit is
clean.

I haven't agreed to any deal with any of the Honda places yet. Does the
Texas deal sound legit? Is there any chance at all of getting a deal
close to that aound these parts - being the NJ or Philadelphia area?

Any help would be appreciated.

Joe

Re: 2004 Accord Price Re-visted

I found if you shop around you can ALWAYS find a better deal. I got tired
of shopping around and settled for my local dealer after getting him below
invoice. I could have saved a few hundred dollars by buying out of state,
but the hassle of transportation, taxes and registration was not worth it to
me.
