2004 Accord Seat Help
I need some help please. On my 04 accord, I have manual seats back and
forth, but electric up and down. I'm 6'4" and I always have it down all the way to fit. My 5'1" wife borrowed the car and raised it all the way up and guess what... it quit. It's not the fuse, but the side button no longer works. I can barely fit in the damn thing now! Any ideas on what to try? I checked the connections under the seat as best I could, no luck. I really don't care about it working, but is there any way to manually crank it bank down? Thanks, I'd appreciate any help!! I can't steal her car, it's even smaller. |

The service (Helm's) manual will tell you how to remove the seat altogether; surely from that point you can figure out a way to manually lower the seat. Good luck. RFT!!! It can be common that if a seat is often changed extreme distances, that the motor could burn out. You will probably not be able to manual adjust the seat, so I would suggest adjusting the steering wheel all the way back and get to the dealer. Sucks, I know.
