2004 Civic VP Starting problem
My 04 Civic with 27000 miles is turning over but not starting from time to
time. It turns over great but just won't catch .When this happens if I wait a few minutes it always starts . This has me concerned , I know when I take the vehicle to the dealer it will start fine . Any ideas what the problem could be ? Thanks in advance for any help . |

If it solves the problem, you know you've got flooding. A leaking injector seems to be HARD for dealers to diagnose, but if you confirm that it works when you floor it, you've saved them a lot of goofing around. The little 'KEY' icon isn't flashing on your dash is it? 'Curly' |

There is no way this should be happening on such a new vehicle. Another sign of Honda quality nosediving. You have to wonder why Ford would want to buy into that company. Oh well, at least youre not stuck with that transmission problem that happens on Accord. |

Re: 2004 Civic VP Starting problem
Either let it crank more, or give the key a
couple more seconds at the 'ON' position to allow the fuel pump to prime the fuel line to the right pressure. t |
