2004 Honda Pilot Clunk
I'm sure this has already been posted but I'll ask anyway. I have a 2004
Honda Pilot that makes a clunk noise when I shift from Drive into Reverse. It does not do it from Park to Reverse or even from P-R-N-R, only when the transmission goes from Drive to Reverse. The dealer claims it is normal and even said other Pilots and the Honda minivan does it as well. Do any other Pilot owners notice this noise? |

Yes,
I hear it too. "Glenn Watts" <gwattsjr@verizon.net> wrote in message news:kISpc.206105$L31.202940@nwrddc01.gnilink.net. .. > I'm sure this has already been posted but I'll ask anyway. Re: 2004 Honda Pilot Clunk
I think it's pretty common. Mine (03) does it sometimes, but I don't
think it does it all the time. On Sun, 16 May 2004 23:21:52 GMT, "Glenn Watts" <gwattsjr@verizon.net> wrote: >I'm sure this has already been posted but I'll ask anyway. Re: 2004 Honda Pilot Clunk
There's actually been a TSB issued for this. They'll install some
shims to prevent the sound. I've had mine done, but the sound is heard time to time, but not all the time now. Go check with your dealer.
