Actually, it is. It's Imperial gallons. Multiply by 0.8 to get U.S.
gallons, which in this case would be about 38.8 mpg(U.S.).

Actually, it is. It's Imperial gallons. Multiply by 0.8 to get U.S.
gallons, which in this case would be about 38.8 mpg(U.S.).

1 Imperial fluid ounce = 28.413 062 5 mililitres = 0.961 U.S. fluid ounce

"Multiply by 0.8 to get *MILES PER* U.S. gallon" (from miles per Imperial
gallon).
