'88 Accord horn doesn't work - troubleshooting / repair tips?
Hi all. Thanks in advance for your time. The switch/fuse/electrical side seems to be intact. I can tap all four buttons (LX, 4-door, fwiw), and the horns will "chirp" a little. They just won't give a nice, long, BEEP. ??? -dmk |

way back when, I had an 87 DX and the horn itself went bad. had to take
the front bumper off and replace it. bob "Darren M. King" wrote: > > Hi all. Re: '88 Accord horn doesn't work - troubleshooting / repair tips?
connect a test light probe in place of the horn, and press the horn
button, if the test light lights up, then you know for sure it's the horn thats faulty. another way is the remove horn, and connect it directly to the battery, if it sounds, then it's somewhere along the line of your horn circuit, switch, or relay, or possibly a poor ground. good luck On Mon, 22 Sep 2003 07:24:00 GMT, Darren M.
