89 Accord LXI Air Cond.Problem
A/C has mind of it's own.It works fine most of the time but occasionally
compressor turns off. When it turns off it will usually stay off .sometimes
when i stop at store, etc. and come out and start again it will be off and
won't comme on.One day i was getting on interstate and noticed that when the
rpm's hit approx. 6 thous.(when trans. shifted)the compressor kicked in,so
now that is how i start it again when it goes off.Any ideas?

Could be the compressor relay. (maybe the jolt of a high RPM shift is
getting it to kick back on??)

Have you check your wires and A/C switch? Maybe there is a frayed wire or
bad connection.
