89 accord valve clearence?

Anyone know? My hood stickers are missing and my book walked off. I'm
without reference.

Is it fuel injected? If so, then there are revised valve
clearances for '85-'89 Accords and '85-'87 Preludes with fuel injection.
Adjust the intake valves to 0.20 mm and the exhaust valves to 0.32 mm.
These specs are a little looser than the specs on the underhood sticker and
eliminate the excessive valve over lap which causes a rough idle if the
underhood sticker specs are used. For reference, this information is from a
Vital Link TSB. I don't have specs for carbureted models but I'm sure that
someone else here should be able to help with that.

For future reference, you can usually find a service manual at your local
library. Some libraries also have subscriptions to the AllData data base.

To fill in the blanks, valve clearance (cold) settings from the 1989
factory service manual are:
intake: 0.12 - 0.17 mm (0.005 - 0.007 in.)
exhaust: 0.25 - 0.30 mm (0.010 - 0.012 in.)
