90 Accord Tuning

I have a '90 Accord LX 4dr. that I am getting ready to start tweaking. I
will do as much as I can on my own, but I also want to get alot of work done
to it that I don't have the time and/or knowledge to do.
I live in Nazareth PA and I'm looking for a quality speed shop that can
do the work I need done. ( I only want the engine block to be original) I
would be thankful for anyone pointing me in the right direction

Scott,
I will recommend a book and a magazine that should be of great value to you.
magazine--"Honda Tuning"--you can find it at any magazine shop of Barnes
and Noble.

book: "Honda and Acura Performance Handbook" written by Mike Ancas
You can get it--order it if is not in stock.
I purchased it at Barnes and Noble and it was in stock.

Just curious....why are you staying with the same engine block? It would be
much cheaper to swap with an H22a(prelude) and start from
there....everything is much stronger....not to mention fun as hell to drive.

Cuz...the f series engines really aren't that great....

Re: 90 Accord Tuning

I meant that I want this to be a complete overhaul from front to back. I am
very new to the whole import scene, so I don't know little things like
engine series and the like, but I'm grateful for the advice. Really my only
two requirements are that it remains legal ( according to PA inspections)
and that I have to carry kids, so it needs to be capable of that still.

I just bought Honda Tuning and Import Tuner a week ago and have been reading
as much as I can. Got any web page suggestions?

Re: 90 Accord Tuning

Well, H22a is one of the most common swaps into accords..because it pretty
much just bolts in...and is incredibly fast. It's got about 200 hp and 160
torque and VTEC.

May I suggest going to superhonda.com and signing up. I just got into the
import scene a year or 2 ago...and once I found this website I really
started learning stuff fast...it's a message forum....Trust me, if you like
hondas and acuras, it will be your new home.

my name there is Gurusan....so sent me a private msg if you want.
