92 Accord EX Fuel Pump ?

I have been noticing that after the engine is turned off, my fuel pump turns
on/off (pulsing) for a few minutes then the pulses go a longer duration.
After about 5+ minutes it stops. My other 91 Accord does not do this. I have
a Nissan truck that does something similar, but not very often. Does it
sound like a bad fuel pump relay?

TIA
Bill

The f/p relay is one of two relays integrated into one module called the
main relay. The other relay powers the ECU, injectors as well as the f/p
relay. The main relay is located behind the dash, left upper side. The
silver colored cruise control module needs to be removed in order to
access the main relay. Once removed you can either replace @ $50.00 or (as
I did) disassembled and resolder the pcb. For additional info go to the

Thanks for the info Mike. I'll take a look at the relay. The problem is
intermittent.
