93 Accord Power Loss
Recently i took my 93 accord across canada (6000 km)...what i've noticed on
the road is some power loss which i didn't see before. This is especially
noticable when going uphil...i have to use a lower gear than ever before
This is a manual 93 accord lx
any clues?

Beelezubb,
What's your mileage, and when did you last change the timing belt? I'm
guessing your timing belt has jumped a tooth OR you've plugged your
catalytic converter. You didn't say that the engine bucks, which might
be expected if the fuel filter was clogged.
Any other symptoms you've noticed? Have you followed the maintenance
schedule closely?

I advise you to take it to a Honda Dealership or mechanic that you trust
and have them do a major tune-up. This involves hooking your Accord up to
a huge computerized testing unit--I don't remember the proper name for the
testing unit. The mechanic should be able to figure out what is wrong with
your Accord and will fix it for you. Even if he can't determine the exact
thing that is wrong with it--the new plugs and filters might solve the
problem. Also, have the mechanic check the timing belt.
