93 Civic EX Will Not Start
Hello people! First time on here.....
Anyway, the details are: 93 Civic Ex 1.6 Just got new distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs and wires. Switch them out and double checked everything. I started the car and it ran fine so I turned it off. After an hour or so I needed to go somewhere so I turned on the car and it ran fine for maybe 2-5 minutes before it died. At this point it will not turn over. I've checked everything but I'm not getting a spark at the plugs. I switched out the control unit inside the distributor and still no spark. I'm going to switch out the coil inside the distributor to see if that is the problem. Anyone have any ideas because this is starting to cost. It was just a simple tuneup. Thanks in advance everyone. Any ideas, comment or experiences would be much appreciated. Leo |

Re: 93 Civic EX Will Not Start
Thanks Fluffy.
You are totally correct. I wish I had saw your posting before I bought the igniter. It was the coil. I now have a brand new igniter $120 and have no use for it. I cannot return it either( I tried ). I wish I had tried the coil first. Thanks everyone. Leo "Fluffy" <no-spamming-bsavanh@mchsi.com> wrote in message news:rOY0b.213019$YN5.147459@sccrnsc01... > Probably the igniter.
