94 civic heater valve not closing - ideas?
The heater valve in the hose does not close all the way once heater is used.
it will close the rest of way if I move lever with my finger, & very little pressure is needed. Does the valve have an internal spring that is supposed to close it? |

The valve gets stubborn, and sometimes silicone spray on the pivot helps, but it normally gets worse pretty quickly. Dunno about the Civic, but it seems they are never in a convenient location to replace them either. Mike |
