Does anyone have any tips/experiences changing out a radiator on a '95 Accord auto 4cyl EX? I was wondering if it's a job I should leave to the professionals or do myself. Thanks for any info!!! |

In other words, how difficult a job is for a novice? I've changed out a
radiator on a corrolla and changed the a/c fan on my Accord, but just though I might find some useful info here. ok you can do it yourself, it's not anymore difficult than the corolla. my
tip is to disconnect the rubber trans cooler lines from the trans not the radiator, remove radiator, fans and shrouds and the cooler lines all as 1 piece, makes it a lot easier. Some of the earlier models it's easier to tale the lower hose off at
the thermostat, and move it to the new radiator on the bench. bob George Pennington wrote: > > ok you can do it yourself, it's not anymore difficult than the corolla. my > tip is to disconnect the rubber trans cooler lines from the trans not the > radiator, remove radiator, fans and shrouds and the cooler lines all as 1 > piece, makes it a lot easier. > "PJ" <pj@bigfoot.com> wrote in message > news:UP8mc.65939$Dn1.17887@fe2.texas.rr.com... > > In other words, how difficult a job is for a novice?
