If not, I'd suspect the ignition switch. Cold weather often brings out the worst in them. The failure can be confirmed - we can hope - by heating the switch with a hair dryer when the car fails. Please elaborate . . Tell us everything you're seeing / hearing when you get in the car and turn the key to the II and then III positions. Are you careful to hold the clutch pedal down far enough? Please let us know whether or not the cooling system has 50 percent water and 50 percent antifreeze. If not, you need to drain the cooling system and make it happen. Buy the antifreeze from the Honda dealership to be on safe side since some brands of antifreeze don't work well in Honda cars. Vehicles don't start well when the water is frozen or has ice particles in it. -- NEWSGROUP SUBSCRIBERS MOTTO We respect those subscribers that ask for advice or provide advice. What do you mean with it not starting? Is the car turning but not
"catching"? |
