LOL! The fact is the models weren't the topic, the badge was and we have the
badge. {;^)

My Integra was built in Japan.

Acura, Lexus and Infiniti were formed by Japanese companies who
determined that US buyers were unwilling/unlikely to purchase upmarket
(and therefore more profitable) cars with names such as Honda, Toyota,
and Datsun (Nissan) which had become indelibly associated with cheap
appliance-level transportation with the successive late 20th century
oil crises.

I will answer your question. There are millions of people in the United
Kingdom. I believe that most intelligent people would believe that the CEO
of the Honda Company would make a decision to market Honda vehicles to
those people--imagine the money that could be made. If I was the CEO of
the Honda Company--I would market my cars in the United Kingdom. There
must be a really good reason for the CEO of the Honda Company to NOT
market Honda vehicles in the United Kingdom--what's the reason??

No offence intended, but you'd probably get a better and more realistic
answer to your question from the CEO of Honda, rather than asking people in
a newsgroup. {;^)

....FFS.

Honda do market their products in the UK, they do not market them as
Acura, which still leaves my question:

Having demonstrated, on occasions innumerable, that you know dick
about squat - Why do you consistently declare otherwise, without
either reservation or qualifications?

I'm sorry, I really don't like to get insulting in NG's, as it generally
just leads to silly flame wars, but are you retarded in some manner or do
you just not listen!? Please stop giving your fellow countrymen a bad
name - there's enough people in the world that wonder what the hell goes
through the average American's mind since your last election!! ;p

Honda do sell in the UK - a great deal. As they do in probably pretty much
every single free economy in the world (and probably a few not so free!).
The particular brand, "Acura", .... the source of my original query ....,
appears to have been confirmed to only be sold in the USA and Canada. It
does not exist anywhere else. However the same model cars do, just under
their "normal" Honda brands.

And yes, there are about 60-70 million people in the UK AFAIK, which I think
is somewhere around a third to a quarter of the US population. So given the
size of the land mass, I'd say it would be a pretty important market for
Honda!
