alloy rims from Accord to Civic
I have a set of 16" rims from my previous car (1994 european Accord) that I
want to use on my 2001 Civic coupé. At first sight they will fit.
What tires do I need? On the Accord they were fitted with Yokohamas 510,
205/50 16. I guess that tire size is still correct for the civic.
Any recommendations as to tire brands?
Regards,
K.

Re: alloy rims from Accord to Civic
Here in the states the bolt pattern is larger (has a wider ) on the
Accord than the Civic. Civics wheel bolt pattern is usually known as 4 x
100mm. Meaning, 4 bolt pattern with a 100mm between each hole. The
Accord is usually 4 x 4.5", or 4 bolt pattern with a four and a half inch
between each hole. Before you waste your time why don't you measure
from center of hole to opposite side or diagonal hole.
Tire size on U.S. Civics were 185/65R14 and 185/65R15 depending on the
model.
