AM/FM/CD Players
I have a 1995 Honda Accord EX that has an AM/FM/Cassette player. I would
like to buy a factory AM/FM/CD player that will slide in and connect to existing wiring......Is this possible and where would I find such a unit????? |
Re: AM/FM/CD Players
If you can't find one in the normal channels, you can try a junkyard. There's probably a few wrecked '95 Accords around. Re: AM/FM/CD Players
Go to http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com Select "Honda Accessories"
from the left side of the page and enter your year / model info. For System\Component select "Accessories - Electrical". With any luck they still have what you need in stock. It will probably be quite a bit more expensive than going after-market, though. mark smith wrote: > > I have a 1995 Honda Accord EX that has an AM/FM/Cassette player. Most all new units you can buy a wiring harness adaptor that will make the new unit plug right into the Honda harness. They can be found in most Circuit City or Best Buy. There are also adaptors for the dash to replace the oversized OEM faceplates. |

I've done it in a CRV and an Odyssey, and they just plug right in. If it doesn't come with the security code, make sure the serial number is intact, so you can get your Honda dealer to retrieve it for you. You could also just add a Honda CD player, that will go into the slot below your machine, and plug into the back of yur machine for control. They can be pricey on eBay, but you can even get brand new ones there. 'Curly' ================== |

Re: AM/FM/CD Players
If u r in the US
Circuit City and Best Buys have decent deals on car CD players which would be cheaper then the Honda original plus u will get brands like Kenwood ,Sony, JVC and Panasonic etc. Today I saw a few ones which were for $99 and u have to buy the kit and harness and they install it for free. check them out. hope it helps.
