Bad Struts?

Other than the obvious (like leaking fluid) how do you diagnose bad struts?

Yep, My 88 Accord LX has great struts, never replaced, until about 110k
miles. :-)

Re: Bad Struts?

You must have a 7th generation Civic (01-03). Take the car to the
dealer, they replace tonnes of these a day and are extremely efficient
at it by now. My last strut replacement was completed in 20 minutes on
a 2002 Civic.

It is a common and known problem with this car. The struts are under
designed and cannot tolerate the abuse they get from poor roads for
very long.
