brake problems on Crv 2003

to avoid bumping the car in front. After the incident, i suddenly heard a
knocking sound when i step on the brake pedal....Although the braking power
did not change, the sound is annoying....Guys help...thanks

Getting 'annoyed' is not a good idea. You need to understand what
happened. Get out your owner's manual and perform the Lamp Check, to be
sure your ABS warning light is functioning, then read what the manual
says about how ABS works / feels. Find a road with some gravel or sand
on it and practice feeling what ABS is like when you try panic stopping.

ABS shouldn't be kicking in on normal braking. If the pulsating is happening
during normal braking have it checked out. If it only happened during a
panic stop then it is normal and you should read up on it as previously
noted....
