Chances of having bad spark plugs and wires

I have a 95' Honda Civic EX (1.6) and just got done with replacing the
Distributor (ICM,Coil) and starter. What are my chances of having bad spark
plugs and wires since my car will not fire up?

John

Re: Chances of having bad spark plugs and wires

The chances of wires just all of a sudden going bad to the point that a car
will not start is pretty low. I suspect since you just replaced all these
parts and the car doesn't start that your attempt at the correct diagnosis
was put put on the backburner while the illogical method of shot gunning
this car took over. In other words I am guessing you just threw a bunch of
parts at the car in an attempt to get it fixed. I would consider getting a
correct shop manual and following the correct diagnostic procedures.

I have done the same thing as have many people and just bought parts
thinking they might work without really doing any proper testing before
hand.
