Civic '91 muffler.

Does anybody knows if the muffler on a Civic'91 could be changed and
"welded" as a "Do it yourself" kind of job?...

If you think so, where to buy the muffler and the item needed for the job!..

Thank you in advance!..

Yes and No.
Take a look under the car, how much rust buildup is there on the muffler and
on the bolts?
Are you sure it's jsut the muffler that is gone, or perhaps the mid section
aswell?

It's definatly a do it yourself job if you've got the tools and another
person to help ya hold stuff in place.
I replaced my Cat-back, and it was a pain the ass due to the rust... If all
else fails, drill out the bolt holding it on, and go buy 3 new ones... :)
not too $$
Make sure you have patience, and start early... it's can take a little
while; but the good thing is, that if you mess up, it's nothing serious you
can still drive to a garage and have them fix it - not like if you mes up
your brakes!

Good luck
Ryan
