Civic LX drive click
I have an 1999 automatic Civic LX. When I go from park to drive or reverse
to drive, I hear this small click sound. I don't think I have heard it before. After like one second when it's on drive, I hear this click that's not loud at all and it last less than one second. Does anyone else get it? Should I be worried? |

My dad's 02 Accord auto doesn't click as loud yet, but I can feel it starting to happen. Don't worry too much about it, there's probably nothing wrong with your transmission. Just do a transmission fluid flush (make sure you use Honda ATF, and nothing else), and you'll be fine. Cosmin |

Re: Civic LX drive click
Yes, when I took my car in for my 90,000 mile tune up they changed the
transmission fluid. It has 97,000 miles on it now. |

Re: Civic LX drive click
How often are you suppose to change the transmission fluid and do a
transmission flush? |
