CR-V recommendations

I'm shopping for a used late model CR-V and I'd like your input on what
years to avoid or look for based on problem areas that were subsequently
fixed or must-have features that were added. Thanks for your input.

Re: CR-V recommendations

No problems that I can think of on any of them, if there were there would
be a ton of for sale in the newspaper( classified ).

I have a 2001, never took it back for warranty work I like the style of the
02's on up, but not enough to go into debt.

Re: CR-V recommendations

Cory,
My new CR-V vibrates at highway speeds.
Dealer can't find the problem,
says it is unique.
Itest-drove it in the city
and did not notice the vibration.
So, I suggest you drive a CR-V at
highway speeds before purchasing.

Re: CR-V recommendations

The pre 99 models have the 128hp 4 cyl, while the 99-01 models have the 146
hp 4 cyl. Nothing to avoid otherwise.

have you checked the wheel balance? That could be the problem I have had
that in the past the wheels have to be balanced for the speed you are
travelling at.
