Cruise not working
 

Any ideas on why my cruise control would just stop working. I have checked
the fuse and it is ok. I have a 92 accord. Thanks.

You could check the switches at the brake and clutch pedals. The one for
the brake is usually a two-pole switch, so that the cruise part of it
may be broken even if the brake light part works.

Also, if this helps. It just stopped working one day. It doesn't work off
and on. It doesn't work at all. You hit the button on the dash for the
cruise. You hit set on the steering wheel then the light near the gauges
comes on saying that it is turned on, but nothing happens.

Sure. As you know the cruise control will disengage as soon as you step
on the brake or on the clutch. There is a switch on the brake pedal and
one on the clutch pedal for this purpose. If either one of these
switches fail, the cruise control electronics will believe that the
brake or clutch pedal being pressed and thus refuse to engage the cruise
control.

The brake pedal switch is the same switch that turns on the brake lights
when you step on the brakes. This switch has two sets of contacts, one
set for the brake lights and one set for the cruise control. This means
that even if your brake lights work, the switch may be bad.
