CRV Tyres

2003 CRV (the best one) still has "Duellers" on it, not the worlds best
tyres. When it comes to replacement I intend to buy a set of four
because of the 4WD issues with this car.
Does the community out there have any thoughts on makes and types for
99% on road and motorway quietness?

I just put a set of Firestones Destination LEs on a 03 Pilot (AWD). Good in
the wet and quiet at a reasonable price. Had a set of Bridgestone Alenzas
on before -- started OK, but became very noisy after 30k and wore out at
about 40k. Expensive tire too.

For a quiet, good handling, long lasting tire - you can't go wrong with
Michelin.

Yes, I've seen some comments about Michelin but the products you can buy
in USA are not available (or named something else) in UK.
Many in US seem to like > Michelin HydroEdge with Green X radial
What is this tyre called in UK?

Er, not really, searching for HydroEdge even on Google I got only
references to "Tires" i.e USA suppliers.
tyrereviews uk has it reviewed but does not list a supplier in UK. I
think it is either not available or named differently in europe.
The regular tyre outlets only push the usual cheap (profitable)products
from pacific rim manufacturers. Anything decent will be an arm and a
leg. It would probably be cheaper to drive to USA and buy some!
