Dash Instrument replacement bulbs

Anyone know of a site that sells twist type bulbs/lamps for the dash
instrumentation on a Honda Accord 2000 UK spec.

Last resort is my Honda Dealer

Thanks

If they're the same as a '98, the actual lamp pulls straight out of the
black plastic 'twist base' and closely resembles the bulb of a mercury
(oral) thermometer. Same lamp has been used in Volvo dashes for about 20
years.

An auto supply store should fix you up for about 25% of what Honda
wants. China probably sells them to America for $0.23 each

Re: Dash Instrument replacement bulbs

I replaced my dash light on my civic 93 one year ago. I first went to a
local car parts dealer. He said he didn't had bulbs that could replace the
one that honda used. He also said that honda whas the onley supplier for the
specified bulb. The local honda dealer wanted to charge me ?15.- for a bulb,
so i went out "experimenting" with other bulbs en found out that the you kan
pull the bulb out off the (braun / black) socket en simply can replace the
bulb with another bulb that you can by at evrey part shop / gas station.
