Dead '91 Accord Ignitiion
Hi,
Hoping to get some info on how to identify the source of a dead ignition on my 1991 Accord. The car quite suddenly with no warning or symptoms. It appeared the ignition was dead, since no there was no spark with a drill but stuck in one end of a plug wire and the drill bit end near the engine, when cranking. I replaced the igniter in the distributor with one that was supposed to be good. No change. This time, I checked the spark with a spark plug laying against the exhaust heat shield. No spark at all. What might be the problem? - Phil |

Can you hear the fuel pump cycle while you're watching the dash lights do the 'lamp test'? If not, check out this excellent site: http://members.rogers.com/john-ings/MainRelay.HTM Maybe yours has died completely? 'Curly' =============== |
