Disc screws
I have just broken my last screwdriver bit trying to undo a brake disc
retaining screw. What is the size of the bit I should get to remove these stubon screws? |

retaining screw. What is the size of the bit I should get to remove these stubon screws? PS The car is a 1998 1.8 civic Aerodeck, but all the Honda discs I have changed have been the same sort of screw. (Usually chisel size) |

something a size a bit bigger should help if you chewed it out

As others stated, impact driver. Get new screws if they are buggered up.
You may have to drill it out if the heads are already gone in the screws. Put some anti-sieze on the threads before reinstalling. Been through all this many times. I keep extra screws in my arsenal. G-Man |
