door locks and window problem

I just bought a 1998 Honda Accord 3 days ago. Everything worked fine and
then I went to lock the doors and they wouldn't lock. I have keyless entry
but they wouldn't work by pressing the door lock button on the door either.
I also noticed that the right side power windows wouldn't work from the
drivers control but would work on the the right side doors control. I
thought maybe it had a blown fuse but checked them and they are fine. Can
anyone give me a clue?

Thanks
Brent

I am mostly shooting from the hip here, but it sounds like you have
broken wires in the wire harness going into the driver's door. Not
uncommon, but a '98 seems a little to young for that kind of problems.
If you are planning on fixing this yourself, get the service manual from
http://www.helminc.com. I have their service manuals for two generations
of Civics and the books are worth their weight in gold (and priced
accordingly). A less expensive option is the Haynes manual. With the
manual in hand, remove the inner door panel on the driver's side and
check for battery voltage at all the right places (ignition on for power
windows tests).
