I just received, free, a 1993 Honda Civic EX- 1.6- and it needs a
motor and wonder if anyone knows of a site that can give some details
on this.

Honda shop manual and Chilton's.

Best site by far is www.honda-tech.com , under the 1992-2000
Civics section. Seems most of the posts there concern engine
swaps for the do-it-yourselfer. Many of the posts are
pictorial reports.

The Honda shop manual from Helm should be all he would need. Chilton
manuals are extremely inadequate.
